What is the difference between Detailing & your local car wash?
Detailing is the process of cleaning and maintaining your vehicle’s exterior and interior on a consistent basis with particular attention paid to the finer details.
Your local car wash can be quick but there are disadvantages. Typically drive-thru washes will miss spots, leave water spots, scratches and swirls from traditional tunnel washes that are never cleaned, and leave residue of acidic chemicals built up from touchless washes.
We also come to you so you can spend more time doing what you want. It’s a win-win situation. Alongside that, we are trained detailers with specialized products and equipment that allow for us to provide the highest quality of work.
Can you restore my car to showroom or like new finish?
We can restore your car to showroom finish, within reason. We are humans, not magicians, however we will do everything we can to restore your car, exceed your expectations, and help provide more resistance to what life throws at us.
Do you offer Ceramic Coating?
We offer a 6-month Ceramic Spray Sealant and 1-year Ceramic Coating. For best results, we recommend a well-shaded area or garage with available space for application.
Why only offer Paint Enhancement?
Simple. Here at Ready Mobile Detailing, we believe in LAM and Preservation over attaining perfection. Least Aggressive Method is the best method for protecting your investment and vehicle’s value. Nowadays, the amount of paint on a vehicle is becoming less and less. A good paint enhancement can remove ~70-80% of paint defects. Why worry about the remaining ~20-30% and sacrificing more of the already thin clear coat/paint trying to achieve perfection when later on down the line it will be prone to oxidation/failure due to less amount there. Average basecoat/clearcoat on a vehicle is about 100 microns, similar to 1 standard sheet of copy paper.
Why Ceramic Coat my vehicle?
Vehicles are typically our 2nd largest purchase in life. They are also a depreciating asset. Ceramic coatings protect your vehicles from our day to day elements, improve the look of your vehicle, and make it easier to clean in the future.
How Do I maintain my vehicle after a Ceramic Coating?
Depending on how often the vehicle is driven, we recommend a hand wash every other week if it is a vehicle daily driven or a vehicle not stored in a garage or under a carport. During those washes, feel free to use products of your choice but add a ceramic spray wax/sealant to “top” the coating or extend it’s durability/functionality. If no time is available, feel free to visit a touchless wash and carry a microfiber towel in the vehicle to assist with drying off the spots it misses.
If the car is rarely driven or stored in a garage or carport, we believe you can get away with washing it every two weeks or monthly.
How Does O-zone Odor Removal work?
Ozone is a colorless gas that is very reactive and that does have the ability to oxidize odors. Ozone is similar to the oxygen that we breathe save for the fact that each molecule is made up of three atoms of oxygen rather than two as in the air that we breathe. This is highly effective to removing smells entirely and not mask them.
